Project Phases
The project “Bologna Hub Peer Support Plus” started on 1 December 2025 and is envisaged to end on 30 November 2028. A physical Kick-Off Event with all experts involved in the project as well as National Bologna Experts and Higher Education Reform Experts (HERE) marked the beginning of the project. In the further course of the project, the experts as well as the representatives of the project consortium will meet in the context of an intermediate online workshop as well as a final conference.
After the Kick-Off Event has taken place in March 2026, the matching phase between Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and experts will be initiated. It is expected that the first cycle of the counselling missions starts in summer 2026. HEIs can apply for participation in the project until 15 May 2026. In summer 2027, the experts and the project consortium will evaluate the first phase of peer counselling visits during an intermediate online workshop. A working paper that includes a reflection on the initial challenges and possible solutions will be developed. Following the intermediate online workshop, the second counselling phase begins. This cycle consists of a joint reflection between the experts and the HEIs on specific challenges presented within the scope of the implementation period.
If a significant number of HEIs from one country or region applies, the project consortium will organize regional hub events to which all these interested HEI will be invited. A total of four such hub events will be organized within the project.
Consortium partners will further organize a series of approx. 3-4 online seminars. These seminars will focus on the key commitments and emerging higher education topics.
In autumn 2028, a final conference with HEIs, experts, the project consortium and other stakeholders will be organized. In the course of the event, the final results, deliverables as well as lines for future developments will be presented and discussed.
