Fundamental Academic Values in the EHEA – From a Student Perspective
Fundamental Academic Values such as academic freedom, university autonomy, and teacher and student participation in the governance of higher education institutions have accompanied the Bologna Process since the very beginning and are currently increasingly coming to the fore in higher education policy debates.
This dialogue aims at enabling an exchange among representatives of European student organisations on Fundamental Academic Values in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). The focus will be on experiences with previous activities, obstacles, potentials for the future, the effects of the Corona crisis and new cooperation possibilities. The goal of the workshop is to adopt a joint perspective on the role and importance of Fundamental Academic Values.
