The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Learning & Teaching in Higher Education
The DAAD is organising a public online seminar under the title “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Learning & Teaching in Higher Education“ on 28 November 2023 which will be hosted by the ASEM Education Secretariat. The event will be open to interested stakeholders and the public.
In the framework of the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM), the DAAD is coordinating the Expert Group on Digitalisation. This Expert Group works towards:
Fostering the dialogue on the potential of digitalisation in (higher) education,
Promoting peer learning among experts of both regions, and
Strengthening collaboration and connectivity between Asia and Europe
The latest ASEM Senior Officials’ Meeting decided that the Expert Group will organise an online seminar that is open to all interested stakeholders and the general public. The topic of this public online seminar is “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Learning & Teaching in Higher Education“ and will take place on 28 November 2023, featuring a panel debate with the following guests:
Dr. Supatida Prompayuck, CEO of The S Curve Company Limited (tbc) will set the scene, followed by a panel debate with the following guests:

Dr. Sharina Yunus, Universiti Teknologi Brunei
Bastien Degardins, European Students’ Union
Assoc. Prof. Christine Slade, University of Queensland
The seminar will be moderated by Ruben Janssens, Ghent University
