Postponed*: Transnational Cooperation Activity – Erasmus+ Projects: Teaching and Learning in a Digital Age
Internationalisation places far greater demands on the content of universities today than it has in the past. In addition to the exchange of students and lecturers, and the implementation of projects, new demands are also placed on teaching, studies and internationalisation@home.
Digitisation plays an extremely important role in internationalisation. This involves the development and mediation of digital learning content in an ‘international classroom’ that can also include students who do not go abroad. It can also involve digital components for the preparation, implementation and follow-up of stays abroad by students and teachers.
This TCA would like to bring together representatives of projects, interested parties and national agencies in order to focus more on this topic. In addition to discussion rounds and expert exchanges, concrete examples from projects that are setting trends for the digital internationalisation of universities will be presented and discussed.
This conference will focus specifically on projects from Key Action 2 (Strategic Partnerships, Knowledge Alliances, Capacity Building, Erasmus Mundus and Jean Monnet Activities) and Key Action 3 (Forward-Looking Cooperation Projects, European Policy Experimentations and Social Inclusion). We invite participants to explore together digital formats and their relevance for the development of international cooperation and connectivity.
We are looking forward to informative and innovative exchanges as we welcome you to share your expertise with the wider Erasmus+ community.
*Unfortunately, due to the situation caused by the COVID-19 (Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2), the TCA “Erasmus+ Projects: Teaching and Learning in a Digital Age” in Cologne on 28/29 April 2020 has been postponed.
This decision has been made, because the DAAD, as a precautionary measure, has cancelled all events with 50 or more participants for the months of March and April based on a national risk assessment of the Robert Koch Institute.
However, we have rescheduled this TCA for November 2020 and will release the exact date as soon as possible.
Further questions can be sent to email@example.com.
Thank you for your understanding.
