Erasmus+ Networking Forum “EU-Higher Education Cooperation between Germany and South-East Asia"
The main goal of the Erasmus+ Networking Forum was to intensify and improve higher education cooperation between South-East-Asia and Germany. Selected higher education representatives from Germany had the possibility to network with their colleagues from Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia. All participants were informed about funding opportunities in Erasmus+ with a focus on Erasmus+ Key Action 2 “Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education” (CBHE), about the Bologna and ASEM processes and received thorough information on how to write successfull project proposals. The event was organized by NA DAAD in cooperation with the DAAD Regional Office in Hanoi.

Two components of the Erasmus+ Networking Forum
- Fact Finding Mission (2nd November 2016):
In the afternoon, German HEIs had the possibility to visit institutions in Hanoi, Vietnam. - Networking Seminar “EU-Higher Education Cooperation between Germany and the South-East Asia” (3rd and 4th November 2016):
Participants were informed about funding opportunities for higher education cooperation. German higher education representatives had the possibility to present their project ideas to the audience. Best practice examples of ongoing or previous projects as well as time slots for networking amongst each other complemented the agenda of the seminar.
