Networking Forum "EU-Higher Education Cooperation between Germany and Ghana"

From 28.11.2018 - 30.11.2018 the Erasmus+ Networking Forum "EU-Higher Education Cooperation between Germany and Ghana" took place in Accra, Ghana. The NA DAAD in cooperation with the DAAD Information Center Ghana had invited higher education representatives from Ghana and Germany to take part in this conference.

Improve higher education cooperation

The main goal of the Erasmus+ Networking Forum was to intensify and improve higher education cooperation between Ghana and Germany in the framework of Erasmus+, the current programme of the European Union (EU) for Education, Training, Youth and Sport.

Networking with more than 100 participants

More than 100 participants took advantage of the possibility to network with their counterparts, share project ideas and start or deepen their cooperations. Furthermore, all participants were informed about funding opportunities in Erasmus+ with a focus on Erasmus+ Key Action 2 “Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education” as well as on Erasmus+ mobility opportunities and DAAD bilateral cooperation possibilities between Germany and Ghana. The Forum also supported future Erasmus+ applicants by delivering a workshop on application details and on how to write a competitive proposal.

Many of the German participants also used the opportunity to take attend the educataGhana, an education fair hosted by the German Chamber of Commerce in Ghana and represent their university at the fair. NA DAAD and the DAAD Information Center Ghana will follow up on the realization of project ideas with the participants who are invited to give their concrete feedback.
