Bridging the Continents: Fostering international cooperation for ASEM Higher Education

Strengthening ties between Europe and Asia through mutual trust is one of the main goals of the Asia Europe Meeting (ASEM). Since 2008, the ASEM Education Process has identified Higher Education as a key element to foster cooperation between Europe and Asia through mutual understanding and transparency, educational and cultural exchanges, informational sharing and joint projects.
The event highlights the characteristics, impacts and instruments of the ASEM Education Process, and emphasizes the specific role of Erasmus+ and its funding opportunities to strengthen the intercontinental collaboration.
