20 Jahre Tempus – Polnisch-deutsche Tagung

Anlässlich des 20jährigen Jubiläums des Tempus-Programms und des vierten Aufrufs in Tempus IV veranstaltete die Nationale Tempus-Kontaktstelle im DAAD in diesem Jahr wieder eine internationale Tagung, die am 18. und 19. November 2010 an der Humboldt-Universität Berlin stattfand.

Das heutige EU-Mitglied Polen gehörte zu den ersten Partnerländern, in denen seit 1990 Tempus-Projekte durchgeführt wurden. Heute sind viele deutsche und polnische Hochschulen als EU-Partner gemeinsam an Tempus-Projekten mit den neuen Partnerländern beteiligt. Deshalb hatte der DAAD zusammen mit der polnischen Tempus-Kontaktstelle Foundation for the Development of the Education System (FRSE) deutsche, polnische und internationale Hochschulvertreter und Tempus-Interessierte dazu eingeladen, im Rahmen einer polnisch-deutschen Tagung das 20-jährige Bestehen des Programms zu feiern und sich zur Antragstellung im neuen Aufruf zu informieren. Nicht nur die Geschichte, auch die Zukunft von Tempus spielten im Rahmen dieser Tagung eine Rolle

20 years of Tempus – Polish-German conference

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Tempus programme and the 4th call for proposals in Tempus IV, the German National Contact Point at DAAD held an international conference on 18th and 19th November 2010 at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.

Poland, now a EU member, was among the first partner countries in which Tempus projects were carried out. Today, many German and Polish universities are working together as EU partners in projects with Tempus partner countries. Hence, DAAD, together with the Polish National Contact Point Foundation for the Development of the Education System (FRSE) invited Polish, German and international university representatives as well as people interested in Tempus to a joint conference to celebrate the programme's 20th anniversary and provide information on the new call for proposals in Tempus IV. Not only history but also the future of Tempus will played a major role at the event.
