Application for a LENARDO grant for Incoming students (students from abroad who apply to get a LEONARDO grant within a German mobility project)

The EU programme LEONARDO DA VINCI provides funding of mobility projects designed to foster skills development for specific target groups, e.g. enabling students to spend periods of time (3 to 12 months for students of Higher education) in another European country for traineeships.

Despite the basic “sending country principle” underlying the EU programme Germany offers the possibility of funding incoming students up to a certain ceiling.

Some German project coordinators offer the opportunity for funding incoming students who want to do a placement in an enterprise in Germany.

If you are a student studying in one of the eligible countries (link to 31 countries) who is interested in such a placement, you can apply at those project coordinators in Germany who provide placement, intercultural and linguistic preparation and grants for incomings students. As the application modalities may differ from mobility project to project, please contact the coordinators directly and e-mail or phone them.
